This week, the ARAÇÁ Project had the honour of welcoming researcher Sarah Darwin, great-granddaughter of the great naturalist Charles Darwin.
She spent two days at the project, getting to know our work, climbing our fig tree and recording scenes for her next documentary.
Not only was she here, but also Alexandre Antonelli, co-founder and president of the Antonelli Foundation, and co-leader of our ARAÇÁ Project.
This video shows Alexandre reading a passage from one of the books written by Charles Darwin. The passage, of course, mentions and emphasises the richness and beauty of the Atlantic Rainforest!
