We recently received a visit from Rowan Hooper, a senior editor at New Scientist and the host of the New Scientist Weekly podcast. He's the author of two books, "Superhuman: Life at the Extremes of our Capacity" and his latest work, "How to save the world for just a trillion dollars" (both of which he kindly donated autographed copies of to our library!).
Rowan is currently in the process of writing his upcoming book, which will delve into the concept of symbiosis, a biological relationship that explains the interaction between two different species. To gather more inspiration for his book, Rowan paid a visit to our ARAÇÁ project and the Fig Tree Project, where he observed various live examples of symbiotic relationships.
We at the ARAÇÁ project are eagerly anticipating the release of his new book, scheduled for the end of 2024. Furthermore, those who are not proficient in English can be reassured that the book will also be available in a Portuguese version!

Para obter mais inspiração para seu livro, Rowan fez uma visita ao nosso projeto ARAÇÁ e ao Projeto Figueira, onde observou vários exemplos vivos de relações simbióticas.
Nós do projeto ARAÇÁ estamos aguardando ansiosamente o lançamento de seu novo livro, previsto para o final de 2024. Além disso, aqueles que não dominam o inglês podem ficar tranquilos, pois o livro também estará disponível em uma versão em português!
